Tomorrow is the first day of first grade! I wrote “My Chester Raccoon” and thought I would post it for all those moms that are sending their little ones off to school. The photo is from 2009 at DeAnna Rose Farmstead. It brings a smile to my face because Kate was so in her element. I looked away for a second (okay, maybe two) and she was feeding herself the goat’s milk out of the goat’s bottle. She survived, so no big deal if your kid wants to sample what the goats are having for lunch.
